I thought it was common knowledge that his family were heavily involved in him not joining us. He doesn't want to play for us, we move on. Football reasons aren't involved. I just hope we find an athletic midfielder as I really do think we lack pace and energy in there.

Daddy had a hand in it. As a Liverpool fan, why would he have his son strength City? People can sometime be petty, aren't you aware? Matter of fact, most of the time people are petty and scornful.

Anyway we are CITY, we will dominate with or without him. He would have been just a cog in a very well oiled, well run and a beast of a machine called CITY!

His Mum is Birmingham City, so maybe Grealish kept him away

I'm speaking purely from his development POV.

Cant deny it isnt a brilliant move,but playing under the tutorage of Pep,and alongside Rodri and KDB amongst others......it would have been an easy choice for me.

Totally agree but his career development so far has been superb, so he clearly is confident enough to go to the mad house in Madrid, many a player and many better players than Bellingham have suffered out there.
 
He's joined the biggest, easily the most successful at the highest level and most glamorous club in world football, he hasn't joined Port Vale ffs
 
Let's see if the media bang on about a release clause and link him with us every week?

Somehow I doubt it!
