Jude Bellingham

As much as I love the talent, think we’ve dodged a bullet with this one.

A German reporter just said that for the last 3-4 months, it was always Bellingham to Real. The rest was just white noise.

Probably explains why we heard fuck all from City. We probably had the nod over Jude's intentions months ago so moved on to other targets, but the Dippers dragged it out to the bitter end trying to sell him their 'istree... \0/

Aye you can’t blame the lad so the best of luck to him.

Would have been nice but we will be fine without him that’s for sure.

Genuinely,City bias aside, cant understand his choice.
Why not? The team is a pillar of the sport, wins trophies constantly, and has a terrific reputation worldwide. It's a club that most of these kids grew up watching, with a player that many of them idolized in Ronaldo. He's going to make a ton of money and live in a nice city. He's filling a need for them that is becoming urgent, as Modric and Kroos age. It makes total sense for him.

Still would have preferred him in our midfield, but it is what it is. I can't question why he did it.

Maybe he could not see himself in a Pep team. He would have to have changed his game style or we would have to have changed the way we play to get the best from him.
Very good player with lots of potential but not sure he would have been a great fit for us.
It will be interesting to see how he does, and how the Real midfield evolves. They are losing two players who are great with the ball but gaining a lot more power and dynamism.

I think City would have stumped up the cash if Bellingham had wanted us.

Can only assume he didn't watch the 4-0.

Seems he'd rather go to a country where racism against players is rife, to join a team that just finished second in a two-horse race.

Oh comon, SSBlue, we're bigger than that, aren't we?

ps, you forgot that their best 3 players are booked into Dignitas.

Good player, I think he would have been a good fit for City. But I don't see him as anywhere near as good as Foden. And we will never know whether City were interested or not. We move on.
