Jude Bellingham

Their budget would be gone on him. If he goes go there, he won’t solve all their problems and they’ll be scraping pennies together to try and plug other gaps.

They need about 3/4 new midfielders, not just 1.

If I was him, I’d be steering clear of the team in decline and going to a team whose coach progresses midfielders and are (currently) levels above the other Premier League team in for me.

Tbh, Liverpool need to try to repeat what they did a few years ago but with Brighton instead of Southampton. Caicedo & MacAllister would massively improve them. As you say, I can't imagine why they would put so much of their kitty into 1 player.

If Liverpool convince the lad to join them then fair play to whoever negotiated on Liverpool’s behalf…..

That Brighton deal would be £200m plus…. Do they have that?

His focus will still be on last nights match and result. But once that’s over and he moves on from that, he will have take notice of the City v Liverpool result. He will watch City v Bayern with interest. If we beat Bayern over 2 legs, which won’t be easy after watching them last batter Dortmund last night, how could Jude not want to sign for City instead of Liverpool?

Don't see why not? They talked about club finances etc on one of the latest 9320 pods and there's nothing that would suggest they couldn't put up a decent wedge. I just think they'd be disinclined to bank it all on one player.

Have just read that they have Connor Gallagher on their list though, so they could be going for cheaper, shite, options.

Once FSG announce they have secured investment, and the Liverpool media make up the amount of investment FSG have secured, we’ll have a rough idea of how much FSG and Liverpool have to spend on Bellingham and the rest of their new midfield.

Dortmund were always going to get battered today against a world-class Bayern team also having that new manager bounce. This is the same team that recently got beat and outplayed by Graham Potter's Chelsea, who just lost at home to Aston Villa. Did you expect Bellingham to turn up and run the game by himself at 19 up against operators like Kimmich who are at their peak?

Deluded.
I’ve watched him countless times over the last 3 years and he’s not the player people make him out to be. If he was Turkish he’d be worth 30-40m and we wouldn’t be intetested
