Jude Bellingham

Classico posturing from Madrid and their media sycophants. The long game it is...
Yep and it's bullshit, the article on the BBC a few days ago about them not willing to pay Dortmund's asking price proved it.

It's all well and good having an agreement with the player, but Dortmund don't have to sell, so they're not going to accept less money from them than they would from, say us!
If that was the case the dippers would still be in the hunt!

We haven't reacted to the rumours last week for a reason and i still think he'll be playing for us next season.

Would that not be the same- him and V jar at RM or him and EH at City though.
Not necessarily. Haaland is universally liked and extremely marketable. Vini Jr. is an asshole IMO who happens to be a great talent. Bellingham much more marketable than VJ. As Benzema, Modric, and Kroos age out Jude would become the man.

Money's money mate. Why pay £30m extra just to say "We beat City to Bellingham's signature"?

Sorry, but that makes zero sense to me. What makes more sense is Real get him for £100m, then spin "Bellingham chose Real's Prestige over City's dodgy human rights petro dollars".

This narrative fits better with the recent "Bellingham chose Real over City, Chelsea & PSG, because he doesn't want to be associated with teams who have 'questionable finances'" as was spun earlier in the week.
No - that makes zero sense, knowing how Dortmund have acted in the past. They won't let Bellingham go for less than asking price, simple as that... if that means they keep him till next season and his price decreases, they will... and that will then test how desperate Real are to sign him... you underestimate how much our signing of Haaland hurt them.

Some journo clown said the Bellingham was only ever going to choose a history club, as such it was always going to be Liverpool and Madrid and once the former pulled out...
Liverpool are indeed a history club as you have to go back to the 80s to find a decade where they won multiple league titles.
