I had a think about this earlier and i think if he does pick Madrid it will actually be revealing of a lack of faith from his camp.

How? They’d be reasoning the prem will always be there for them. Madrid may not be.

If they really think he’s the next big thing, that kind of thinking wouldn’t cross their minds and Pep and city would be the best coach and place for a young talented player to perfect his craft.
Maybe he wants to be the big kahuna and not be in Haaland's shadow. He can eventually be viewed as the man at Real even with Vini Jr. being there. He'll never be the man here. If that's how he thinks, the hell with him...

Lack of faith? LOL

7 Champions Leagues in the last 20, are you seriously saying they are not THE club to play for?

City would be a superb move for him but stop the knocking and disrespect of Madrid.

Depends how desperate Real are for him... they want to make a statement - "we beat City to his signature", so I think Dortmund will call their bluff and hold out for asking price.
Money's money mate. Why pay £30m extra just to say "We beat City to Bellingham's signature"?

Sorry, but that makes zero sense to me. What makes more sense is Real get him for £100m, then spin "Bellingham chose Real's Prestige over City's dodgy human rights petro dollars".

This narrative fits better with the recent "Bellingham chose Real over City, Chelsea & PSG, because he doesn't want to be associated with teams who have 'questionable finances'" as was spun earlier in the week.

So after all that posturing, it becomes clear it was to have a go at us and say it was all about money.

Classic!

They played their card about 5 days too early if it was a case of pissing us off before the first leg. Wankers.

If it happens, a lot of journalists will look like right gullible twats. Certain ones (Romano) always know how to go back on their word without losing face because they try and be first to every deal. But that Berger from Dortmund has been borderline attacking the club with some of the shit he’s been writing.

It’d be amazing to see the fall out now if he came here.

Completely missed the point.

If he backs himself he thinks he can go there next time around. If he doesn’t, he thinks this is a one off opportunity but there will always be a Prem team waiting post this move.

If he looks after himself he could be playing for another 15 years at the top, he will never be short of offers at the very best clubs.

Well, a 19 year old English player going to RM for silly sums..good luck to the guy if he can pull it off as a player.. the name Gareth comes to mind and hope he likes his golf..He is good, but certainly no Erling..Honestly not too bothered about this one.. have no idea why.

Romano would need to say something definitive in the first place

Anything new coming from Real Madrid briefing the Real Madrid media?

If that was the case he wouldn't sign for Madrid who have questionable finances having all there debt 200million+ wiped out by the Spanish government
