Bellingham is out on his owni didnt see mcallister as a bellingham replacement i thought it was both. I maybe wrong though
Its either Mac Allister or Kovacic.......Mac Allister being the first/preferred option. We obviously have to meet Brightons evaluation and based on Cucurella last summer that might take some doing so its really sensible for the club to have a back up option. Personally think both are very decent players thought I think Mac Allsiter compliments Bellingham better....but with the way Pep develops players who knows!
All according to TH regarding the options of course.

1. He is clearly convinced as he has been banging this drum for quite a while so someone is feeding him this info.
2. Liverpool are interested in Bellingham - that much is true (so are a lot of other clubs probably)
3. Bellingham would consider Liverpool - as he says - of course he would at the beginning..he would be stupid not to

When all the pieces fall into place and Bellingham knows who is in for him then he will have made a decision -just because he was interested at one point in Liverpool doesnt mean he hasnt changed his mind. He will probably openly speak favourably about every club in for him but choose what he says to who.....he (or his reps) will meet all the clubs and give them verbal agreements (or not) based on contract offer etc but they for the most part are not worth anything....
He also mentions a caveat which is absolutely huge and he plays it down a little to start with.....the amount that a club is going to have to pay for Bellingham.....FSG may easily NOT pay that amount. This is also clearly his escape route if they dont get him - he mentions it a number of times and makes the point about money at the end to give himself that escape route.
The rest that he talks about is hyperbole - being a leader, a catlyst for change etc etc....well he could be that at any club including Madric and City - Modric is getting on for instance at Madrid....at us he would take over from a number of iconic players including one of the current captains of the team in Gundogan. He would be part of a revamped team anywhere he goes and he mentions that he would come to Liverpool as they are in a transitional season....well so are we and you can see that in our playign style - we just happen to have handled it much better as a club and as a team/manager on the pitch transitioning while still playing decent football unlike Liverpool for large parts of the season.
he also fails to mention that Bellinghams best mate plays for us (Haaland) - does he not think that if Haaland has wind of any possibility of Bellingham turning up at city that Haaland wont be in his ear on a regular basis? Players talk to each other even when they have left a club.....
We know that Bellingham has also said yes to us.....does that mean he will come.....not for definite but we know we are an equally attractive option for all the reasons he says Liverpool are.

Players also look at the players they will be playing with and socialising with. Liverpool. Trent. City. Haaalnd, Grealish(another Brummie), Foden. It’s not all about money, winning trophies, the manager, etc.Of course Liverpool will push their istory, the KOP, the Anfield atmosphere, he being their main player, playing every match, etc. If City beat Bayern that will be a massive plus for us. Bellingham will take notice of that result.
We get it...As a player I don't like him...as a person I have nothing against him...therefore no axe to grind at all.
I agree it does take time....I just don't think his ceiling is that high

I dont like scousers in general and certainly cannot stand the club and its supporters and the way they act all high and mighty but at the end of the day he is just a supporter with a fan channel just like all major clubs have (sometimes numerous of them). He has opinions just like people have fan channels and podcasts on here....
I put no effort into it...it was posted on here so I watched what he said listened and posted an opinion...no more effort that has gone into this.
He (and his 'source') will either be proved right or wrong.
