Why, because he isn't saying what we want. If Berger was saying Bellingham was signing for us this thread would be about 2k pages and some would be partying in the streets.

He can say Jude chose Madrid without dissing us. The 2 things are mutually exclusive. I don't like what he's saying one fucking bit! There's absolutely zero reason to take a shot at us regardless of what Bellingham winds up doing. I hope I am being clear on why I, me, have a problem with Berger...

Effectively nothing has been decided, no fees have been agreed, by any parties, and once the season ends, in all countries, then the real work will likely begin. Realistically there appear to be one or two contenders for JB's signature, we may or may not be one of them. With an infrastructure like ours, a manager like Pep, a winning culture, wonderful players (2 of whom have recently arrived from Dortmund) and participation in a fantastic competitive league we must be strong favorites to get the kid, if we genuinely are putting our minds to signing him.

If his father/manager/representative is blocking a move because of partizan football tribalism, then it is best not continuing.

Well they seem pretty certain it's all over bar the price being agreed between the clubs, but if Bellingham only wants Real, Dortmund will have to reach a deal or watch his value plummet next season if the player refuses any other approaches.

As for the "Plastic clubs run by Sheikhs" remark, if the Bellingham's truly believe this, Jude can go fuck himself with a white hot poker... :-/

The Bellingham's may want to get all pious over "Plastic Clubs", but if they made remarks like these it shows Bellingham is a plastic player who Real are welcome to.

Regardless of where he ends up, I've serious doubts he'd allow those "Plastic clubs" statements to go public knowing the backlash he'd get.

Whatever will be, will be. If he's Real bound & Gundog leaves, I'll happily settle for us switching our attentions to Rice & De Jong.

A lot of our fans like the look of Mac Allister. To be honest he looks a decent player imo, but I've seen nothing that makes him stand out. However if City see something they like, I'm happy to back Mac all the way.

It happens. I recall Gael Clichy cursing an emergent City when at Arsenal. 12 months later he moved to the Etihad, & was beaming at the end of his first season as he won the Premier League in dramatic fashion with City.
