I suspect he's a very good player, he clearly has talent but it remains to be seen if he can cut it at a big club used to winning things.

At 19 it can still go either way, you could pay that huge fee and have another sancho on your hands.

Let Madrid take that risk. I'm sure he'll want to come back to play in England at some point anyway, and by then we'll know what he's all about.

Still. Gotta laugh at the dippers thinking he was ever going there. Maybe Henderson will stop licking his arsehole at England camps now.

I would have happily taken him now though because I know Pep could work wonders with his talent. But at the same time I'm quite apathetic about his move to Madrid for the reasons above.

It appeases the Madrid fans. Like cringeworthy "Hala Madrid" that Perez gets them to do at the press conference.

Not bothered about money, ok mate. If hes bothered about playing football hes picked probably the hardest midfield in the world to break into.

Not even close to being the best team in Spain. Fuck RM. And btw before anyone chimes in with some comment about me being bitter, I'm not bitter. I simply can't stand Real Madrid which I've made clear on here many, many times long before Bellingham going there. For me he's just another RM player so I hope he sucks. Just the way it is...

i would tend to agree. Only need to look at what happened with Bale.

It's a completely different ball game over there, the fans demand instant results, and being british/foreign theres that added pressure and scrutiny.

He bottled it. Went to an easier league in a team that has little competition. Will make him look better than he would in the more taxing Premier League
