Jude Bellingham

I get it and some of the criticism is fair enough.
I just try and think as a neutral English fan so take a lot of delight in seeing the likes of Bellingham, Palmer, Foden, Saka and many more doing well for club but mainly country - I find it sad the level of hate and abuse these young lads receive constantly.
There are far too many fans of all clubs who think he’s an overhyped bellend for there not to be something in this.
I think he’s an excellent player but he wants to hog the limelight far too often.
He’s not at all humble
I seen him have many a stinker for club and country and the ultimate “who else” comment was a massive dig at his team mates.
From a personal note his dig at city was the icing on the cake for us city fans so can royally get to fuck.

The guy's an arrogant, obnoxious wanker.

Your attempts at "balance" are becoming embarrassingly pitiful.

Being "balanced" walks a fine line with being contrary.
When the reality stares you in the face, but you still won't admit it....that's "contrary"

I think we are mistaking the Ballon D'or for the Miss World beauty pagent. A player can have the nastiest attitude and yet if he has done enough on the pitch, he can go on to win the Ballon D'or. It's not a Miss congeniality award
Except that one of the three criteria for the Ballon D'Or is 'class and fair play,' neither of which Bellingham exhibits.

Let's be honest England always has to have some scapegoats. One of the worst things about the UK is the bitter jealousy which drives so many people to do down anyone who has success (not just in football). I am not a huge fan of Bellingham but it does seem that many fans (and media people) can't wait for the downfall of Saka and Foden. I think Palmer is the best English player since Gascoigne but some people still don't give him any respect. That said I do believe that English players are often over-hyped when they are starting out. It is the old "build them up then knock them down" attitude.

Less than a month later, Bellingham was England's saviour against Slovakia when, with the Three Lions just seconds away from an embarrassing Euro 2024 last-16 exit, he produced a moment of genius. Bellingham's stunning overhead kick took the game to extra time, when Harry Kane scored a first-minute penalty to secure a 2-1 win for England.

Bellingham finished third in the Ballon d'Or voting, behind Manchester City's Rodri and his Real Madrid team-mate Vinicius Jr. Bellingham's placing was the highest an English player has finished since Frank Lampard's second place in 2005.

He has got a lovely smile and I do like a man with nice teeth:)

Is your " blimey" one of surprise or adulation.
Valencia threw the game away at the end.
Ridiculous mistake with the back pass for the winning goal and no mention of his arrogant penalty miss

Adulation, he’s having another great purple patch - good to see , especially from an England perspective
