I would love my manager to be like this.
Klopp would get the Etihad rocking.
Without going into why I think Pellegrini should be relieved of his position... I'm just deadly bored of how things have panned out this season. I'm sick of the talk on the OS pre and post match. "We can still win the title", "we will not give up" etc. It would be nice, considering how much has been spent and how good the spine of the team remains, to just for once set a benchmark. Lead from the front. Set the gauntlet to others. Take our opportunities rather than have to claw back points. Mancini improved our mentality. Pellegrini improved the morale of the squad post Mancini and got us playing great football last season. The fact is we've been poor. Blame players, blame injuries, blame fatigue... blame the manager. Whatever you want to call it, this season has been poor and Klopp is someone who not only motivates players, retains harmony, gives youth a chance and also tactically organises well and takes no crap... he's also a lot of fun and there's something in me that wants to see that from a manager. I liked the passion Keegan had. I liked how much Pearce put into it despite the dross we had on show. I love Mancini embracing the scarf and becoming one of us. I want City to win first and foremost but it would be one hell of a ride with Klopp and let's all be honest... there's still a big part of being a City fan that likes a few twists and turns on the way (as much as that goes against what I initially wrote!).
