isnt it funny how they accepted 20p. basically beggers. does that happen anywhere near the new ground now?

oh yes! the robbing bastards put on luminous jackets and charge a fiver

It's true!

One of the 'carparks' is just a piece of wasteground that get's about 500 vehicles on it every match at £5 each.
The lads that run it don't own it. They just turn up, take the money, guard the patch and go home. If it's raining, they don't bother with the guarding bit.

looks like i owe you an apology pbibs. i did hear about people having their car bricked for not giving any money. but i assume that wasnt you.

Maybe times change. I minded cars 30 yrs ago mate, it isnt a recent phenomenom. We just wanted sweets. Bricking cars didnt happen in my time.
well im glad sir. probably like when i was younger and i wanted to save up for summat i would ask people if they wanted their cars washing. wasnt quite 30 years ago. anyway wasnt having a dig at the jolly car minders such as yourself.

Incidentally, I was reading an article last week and when the pitch was dug up after City moved out, it was relaid at Ducie High School (now Manchester Academy) as hardly anyone bought any of it when it was auctioned off with everything else.

I've got the exact patch of grass Ian Bishop headed from to score in the 5-1 I'll have you know.

Uzi Alley

Mountain Bike Avenue

No you haven't if you got it in 2003, at the end of every season I was told the pitch is stripped of any grass and they start again.
