My brother-in-law is a season ticket holder at St James'. As he doesn't get to the many of the games these days, I did consider asking if he would let me have his ticket, but as it's in the Gallowgate end, it would probably end up with me watching the QPR game from a hospital bed and eating liquidised food through a straw for several weeks!!!!

is that where the skin'eads sit?

I don't want to rain on anyones parade but even if we do win on Sunday,if the rags do the same we still have to win the QPR game.I don't like all this talk of just winning at Newcastle to win the league,it is disrespectful to QPR.One they may be safe from relegation when they play us so they can relax and play without fear,or two they will be fighting for their lives.Add the Hughes effect and it could become nasty.

Correct! But we shouldn't be thinking about anything past Sunday afternoon. The words "Queen's Park Rangers" "title" "champions" "Premier League trophy" and "Summer holidays" should not be muttered until after we've played Newcastle; we shouldn't even think of those words. We've got a game to win and winning that one game is the only thing that matters right now.

It's just such a shame its so cold up here as i would have liked to have worn shorts for this one.
I live 10 mins from the toon stadium and believe me its like January up here.

The throwback to 68 is really quite amazing..no matter what is being said about QPR,this is where we will do it.In style;and in doing so the 'typical city' tag will be gone foreverThat will be fantastic but will be a shame in a way and i'm sure a lot of folk will know what i mean.

I agree, history is repeating itself. When I was 11, I started supporting City, and I remember my dad telling me about the last time we had won the league. Man City in the 90s were crap, and I never thought one day I'd see us THIS close to winning the league.

Fuck me, who wants to go to a match in shorts? Mind you seeing those fine geordie fat-bellied specimens bare-chested in sub zero temperatures might have turned this boy's head so that he thinks he's overdressed in thermals, t-shirt, shirt, jumper and coat. Move back to God's country son. Spot on about typical city. Happy days. BELIEVE.
