Has anyone mentioned that JSO are against NEW licensing and production?

Great... the question remains for how long can we maintain this, that's all I want to know? By the way, i think it is a very compelling argument - "letting the earth do its thing"? - incredibly arrogant to think we can stop this. Maybe in the immediate future, but as I said before, it's like extending a terminally ill patient's pain and misery for one more day. If people see anything other than this, then I admire their optimism.
IF the information is true, isn't it the very people who are funding them that are contributing to this (purposely)?THe government and media are essentially dehumanising them and emboldening members of the public to do this. It's pretty disgraceful.
It's about time some of the public woke up to themselves.
thank you, at least/at last something to consider above and beyond the boring bluster.I think “how long can we maintain this?” is a great question and probably the crux of the issue. The Earth’s climate will inevitably change, and species on Earth can adapt to that change with sufficient time. The problem is that the pace of change is robbing life on Earth the opportunity to adapt - this is just one study - but this study finds that we are causing change that is at a 170 times greater rate than natural forces.
We are currently in the middle of what is known as the Anthropocene extinction event. When we look at the geological record, we can see when extinction events happened in Earth’s history, these are usually caused by things like meteor impacts. If somebody looks at the current geological record one million years from now they will see our time looks exactly like one of those extinction events. Mankind’s progress is an extinction event that in the scientific record looks on a par with meteors that have annihilated 75%+ of all species in the blink of an eye (geologically speaking).
So no, I don’t think it’s arrogant to suggest that we can influence the Earth’s natural cadence, because it is a simple fact that we’ve been doing it already for hundreds of years. Only, for too long we didn’t realise it.
Then, perhaps if they had a braincell between them they would realise their current tactics are having no effect, other than putting to themselves in danger of a pastingAt least they are trying something and putting themselves at risk doing it.
Next picture you see of this man he will be referred to as " the accused"
But but but at least they are trying some will say. Then, perhaps if they had a braincell between them they would realise their current tactics are having no effect, other than putting to themselves in danger of a pasting
