All teams will be able to point to stupid decisions against their teams and I would suggest those at the lower end of the table than us.

In the last 4 seasons he has reffed the biggest games in the world so he must be doing something right. He is smarmy and too cosy to big players ( we have some btw) but why would he cheat and be corrupt , what does he gain?

I just don't adhere to this growing paranoia that uefa hate us, the fa hate us, all referees hate us, the press hate us, bt sport hate us, Sky hate us, match of he day hate us. The bbc hate us. Teresa may hates us etc etc etc.

If that is the case perhaps we should just give up. Is it not just simply that in the uk the underdog is built up and built up and then it becomes successful and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon to knock em down.

Nah, the guys a total dickwad. Still not forgiven him for giving the penalty to Spuds at home last season. Bent(er) than bender.

We've pointed out huge mistakes in his last 9 games reffing us. Have you read the last 5 pages of this thread?

Ok but he is perceived as the top ref so he is going to get this big game.

There is loads of pressure on him anyway now, have a look at the sun article about his appointment. I would suggest he is under pressure to be fair.
