Juventus (home) tickets/attendance

Really disappointing getting such a low crowd for this! I still think for as many genuine reasons for people not going there are equally as many who just can't be arsed.

There's people who would rather pay £56 to watch us against Watford than £30 to watch us against last years European cup finalist and that is a mindset i'll never understand.

Its gutting. Fair enough the clubs pricing policy in previous years has been ludicrous but they seem to have made the effort to reduce prices for this game, yet the enthusiasm has simply not been returned by the fans

I think for a lot it's cost...can't fault the club for the pricing but for some inc me the extra cup schemes to the season tkt cost are too much so I just pick and choose when funds dictate I can go.

I still reckon we will get around the 45-47k mark which is decent in anyone's book bar maybe the rags and the muen who will still just see it as an opportunity to take the piss or draw red circles ...can't say I will be bothered about either tbh

don't understand it myself but the only reason i can think is work v a non work day

I think those figures you quote Dave are spot on, the third tiers are not showing because they want to fill the lower tiers first. There are loads left, a lot of season ticket holders for whatever reason don't bother with CL games and we don't have enough day trippers/ casual fans to take the slack.

I have a ticket for the third tier and it was looking pretty full when i got mine last week.

I do not think its the pricing but a bit of apathy from the fans and also the logistics of two games in a week at home.

For fans, such as myself, who live 230 miles away. Heading up for Juventus, returning home and repeating for West Ham is a significant undertaking and of course the West Ham tickets have already been purchased via season cards etc. so I can understand why those games are favoured.

For me I have bitten the bullet and taken the four days off so I can stay with family in Manchester. I can understand why others who live away or do not have family to stay with give this match a swerve.

So are we doing extra cheap seats for spotty students again but charging regular fans 'full price' again....
Yes they are getting their tickets at £21 for a full adult ticket. I actually think the price for this one isn't too bad at £30 (cup scheme price) but in the past the prices for champions league have been ridiculous. I know for a fact that City have given tickets away to schools for free in previous seasons. I find it really annoying when I've paid up to £50 for mine and £20 odd for my kids to be told by other parents they got theirs for free.
