Although it would be great seeing Kaka in a City shirt I believe that Galliano and Berlusconi are playing media games again, contradicting each other, giving out mixed signals,and do we really want to get involved with these 2 Italian Del Boys again and end up with egg on our faces, I for one hope not as I don't want to see our club being ridiculed by the press again. I hope that for once Berlusconi is true to his word and the final decision is made on monday, then we can get back to realistic targets and getting on quietly and confidently biulding the squad to challenge next season

I to agree with you here and been in disscusion with a friend at work about this who are both blues. As much as i would love to see the fella in a blue shirt i dont think we should go daft here as i feel something will go wrong either egg on face or come back to bite us with other targets. We will raise the price on lots of players everywhere. There is other targets that are out there at a lot less ££££. Maybe still like i said to my mate cant still get mi head rouund how much ££££ oue owerners have and they just think balls to it?

Thinking about this:
AC and Real spread the word that Real are about to sign Kaka, but in reality this is what's happening (my theory of course & complete bollocks like the OP).
* AC are really going to keep Kaka but sell Pato to us
* Real are in on this and are using the Kaka link to try and sort the Tranny deal out on the QT
* Kaka then does what he did in Jan and everyone in Italy is happy
* Real get who they wanted & City sign a cracking player in a deal that went un-noticed
* City then by someone from Real to give them some of there Tranny fee back.
All very cloak and dagger but nothing suprises me any more and I do love a good made up story.
