Kaka [Merged]

Firstly this is a pointless thread, cause there is no way Kaka would come to City. That was proved in January when he wouldnt come here when we were the only team in for him. When the options are Madrid Chelsea staying at Milan or City - at this stage we would come fourth every time.

It is for this reason that I dont believe for one minute we have gone back in for him. Who says we have ?? Ajay of course. The same Ajay that came on here and said he had signed in January, when the truth was the talks had failed at a very early stage. Despite this some people on here still hang on Ajays word as if fact.

Thirdly, if he ever did sign, then please dont try and say Ireland is a better player. Yes he has had a fantastic season. However, Kaka is one of the top 3 players in the world. Completely different league. I like SI but he is not in Kaka's class. If Kaka did join, then you play him in his best position no matter who plays there at the moment.

NEVER said Stevie is better, read it again. I just think that he's got something special about him that needs bring through and that won't happen on the bench.

Look at it this was, when Kaka emerged as a young lad playing as for AC, I'm sure their were fans that would of prefered a bigger name in that position. Stephen Ireland has got something very special and we should let it grow. We don't have enough special players at our club who have their heart and soul set on playing for MANCHESTER CITY and that for me is bigger than any Kaka.

I would rather have Stevie in the team over Kaka all day every day , Kaka was ordinary yesterday and doesnt tackle back , Ireland offers us more IMO and is improving . Of course he would come Brazilians play anywhere that pay them the most for their talents and there is nothing wrong with that

Having watched the Kaka transfer saga with RM unfold I have to say it has gone in exactly the same way as when we bid for hi, Bid lodged, Ac then say to much money to turn down, meetings with Galliani, problems over add ons to agents etc, then Berlusconi saying not going anywhere unless player wants to go, Ultras now protesting outside AC Milan HQ, Berlusconi to use his words "begging" Kaka to stay, it would be piss funny if again Kaka stays put, and yet again what a complete waste of time for all parties involved. My view is he will stay at AC just as he stated at the outset. If we have lodged a bid I hope we never ever find out because to be quiet honest AC are a set of jkers when it comes to the transfer market, they are playing politics with the player and probably have no intention of selling but just trying to raise the profile of teir club again as one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

i totally agree. i actually feel sorry for kaka in the whole of this. he doesnt want to leave, but i wouldnt blame him for changing his mind and leaving the way those twats at milan have been carrying on. ac milan (well the directors anyway) don't deserve a player like kaka.

Neither do their fans the way they treated Maldini the other week

Kaka doesn't track back. Genius !! But well done for basing your opinion on one of the worlds best players on one game.

And you say of course he would come. Well we offered £90m plus the largest wage in world football in January and he told us to fuck off so I think answers your question.

Passed his medical (in Brazil) for Madrid according to Marca.

I'm not saying that he's not signing for Madrid but isn't the same paper that had us bidding for Messi just before the CL final?
