Unfortunately given Ammortisation you are looking at Ade + £20m. Possible? I don't know. We are definitely lacking in that department.

THIS!.

we need cover or someone to play with silva
Why get the aging Kaka, when we can get the new one. Sign Pastore already!!!

Re: Kaka swap deal

Experience.
What experience? Experience in the premiership? If he has that, he probably got it from FM. I'll take 7 years of Pastore development over 2 years of Kaka's decline. And his experience is overrated! He is no more likely to deal better with the Premiership.

Re: Kaka swap deal

I doubt he would like to move to premier league now...and i wouldn't sign him unless it's adebayor + no cash swap deal.

His wages are also a stumbling block. I would go for a younger creative midfielder.

Same such as Pastore/Sanchez/Mata

I wish all this Pastore bumming would stop. Everyone is treating him like he is the new messiah. It's ridiculous. He has not even played in Europe for 2 years and has not exactly set the world on fire. And to suggest Kaka is not experienced is very naeve. He has spent 8 years playing at the top level against top teams at club and international level and he has only had a quiet year this year due to spending a lot of time injured.

Re: Kaka swap deal

I can't understand why people wouldn't want a former world player of the year as an asset to their squad!

What's happened between us bidding for him before and now? He's had a bad injury that kept him out for a long time and slowed his progress in La Liga. As far as I can see the guy needs a confidence boost and prehaps a fresh start is what he needs. We're a great passing and moving team now, I think he'd thrive under Mancini.

I'd rather give him a chance to show he's still got that world player of the year form in him than see him do it for somone else.....like Chelski!
