Kaka

I'm going to lay my neck on the line and say he's not going to come, besides I'd rather look for younger and hungrier type players.

I think he would be hungry to prove he hasn't lost it and at 28 he's hardly ancient.

He plays the playmaker role and I would have silva over him all day long.

Me too but fucking hell you wouldn't want Kaka on the bench or as back up ?

Swap deal for Ade? Cover for Silva? He would fit into our team a lot better now than he would have done in the Hughes era.

You're on my wavelength!

What experience? Experience in the premiership? If he has that, he probably got it from FM. I'll take 7 years of Pastore development over 2 years of Kaka's decline. And his experience is overrated! He is no more likely to deal better with the Premiership.

I wish all this Pastore bumming would stop. Everyone is treating him like he is the new messiah. It's ridiculous. He has not even played in Europe for 2 years and has not exactly set the world on fire. And to suggest Kaka is not experienced is very naeve. He has spent 8 years playing at the top level against top teams at club and international level and he has only had a quiet year this year due to spending a lot of time injured.
Nah Not everyone. Just me :P I guess for me part of the beauty would be watching him try to go from a prospect into a superstar. I'd rather that than watch Kaka slowly deteriorate. Assuming that hasn't begun already.

He is 28, around the age when Brazilians start to decline drastically. He will be moving to a different league, wih a different style, on the heels of an injury and battered confidence from a poor WC showing, an injury and inability to get games in Madrid.

Sorry. Pass! Let him go back to Milan. That is where he is most likely to find his form and comfort again.

Kaka doesn't have experience playing in the Premiership. There is nothing naive about that. It is just a fact. He doesn't. Anyway all this will become clear in a few years. Hoep we are here to revisit. But just from a historical view, it is certain Kaka will decline, the only uncertainty is whether Pastore will rise to greatness. I am willing to take that risk. It is less risky than Kaka. Who's decline is a certainty!

Let's put this into some sort of perspective. So, Pastore aside.....are you saying that should the opportunity arise and no other ones (Pastore or whoever else the papers are telling you is the next best thing since sliced bread) were available, you would pass up on the offer to rely on Silva for another full season?

No thanks - he made his decision, let him live with it.

A crock. Can you imagine if we had paid £100m, bloody hell.

We missed a major curve ball.

just started reading some of these post and this is one of the few i agree with.

KAKA is injury prone and nowhere near the player he was. i rather have ade back.

Re: Kaka swap deal

even if he isn't as good as he once was, a NDJ, Yaya, Kaka, Silva midfield is as good as it gets.

Re: Kaka swap deal

To all the Kaka lovers.. and I'm not talking about those who like watching scat movies! becareful what you wish for. If they are willing to sell I bet they would want Tevez involved in any deal.

If Tevez does leave in the summer then Real is probably the only place he could go, then I would suggest the deal goes something like Kaka and Higuain to us Tevez the other way. And just to make things worse we get Ade back at the end of his loan.

Personally, I would not want Kaka at City. He had his chance and that's it... For me it would send out the wrong message about City in that players could try somewhere else before coming to us and then what would be there motive for then coming to us... yes you guessed it MONEY. Errr no thanks.

Better to try and swap Ade for Higuain plus £10 million then we have are 4 forwards and we know Tevez can play with this guy with Tevez sitting just behind him.

Re: Kaka swap deal

two years ago i would have snapped there hands off.

I'm not sure his body is up to the riguors of the premier league. I wouldn't be gutted if he came but i'm leaning to the younger players - Pastore - Gourcuff - If we are going to wad out i'd try for Sneider
