If he can link the play, supply our forwards and act as a foil for Silva then yes please.Alternatively, anyone else that fits that bill.

Exactly my point. And also gets Ade off the books.

Unless Silva is injured where is Kaka going to play?

On a side note - we coud do with some width in the mid field!

In place of that big, unfit, immobile, bottleless lump called Yaya.

Re: Kaka swap deal

Ah! another one of my American sports analogies. This is when you don't hustle hard 100% of the time. I.e you lose a ball on offense and slowly jog back instead of sprinting back into a defensive position.

To be honest, outside of Americans and the English, very few nations have that culture of total commitment. This doesn't mean he doesn't work defensively though. Just means he is a foreiegn offensive player, they are not as hustle intense as English or American offensive players.

If you are able to watch the Palermo v. Udinese game (that is the most recent one) Even though a bad example coz the whole team gave up after the first 45 minutes and being down 5-0, you'd see portions where Pastore is almost physically sulking and about to throw a fit. Coz they were being sh-lacked by Udinese, were down to 10 men, and couldn't retrieve the ball. At one point he was just walking. Literally walking in the middle of the game.

He does hustle defensively as much as most offensive foriegn guys, but he is no Tevez or Rooney. He is not gonna chase full blooded until he cracks a defender. However he favors the slide tackle kinda like Rosicky in that regard.

-- Tue Mar 01, 2011 12:47 pm --
