40-50M£ is a lot of money for a backup DM IMO. A lot.

There are very few players in our squad who are genuine back up's , most rotate.. Some get fewer games than others but virtually all will get a run in the team . We need payers who are first team quality.

You won't have to, he is not an upgrade or on level with what we have and never will be, rather see us keep zivchenko and use him as a converted deep lying midfielder as back up to rodri, he would still be better than philips.

Obviously if we buy Phillips the top level coaches that have worked with Zincheko every day for years think you are wrong.
