Been watching some interviews and stuff with Kalvin and he also seems like a perfect fit for City in terms of personality.Would be interesting to know what other alternatives club for him.
English .. home grown.. not big wages ... good replacement for fernadinho if he can play without injuries.
Why would Jesus possibly hold up the transfer that's a replacement for somebody that's already left?I expect movement once Jesus move to Arsenal is confirmed. Maybe that's the hold up
Maybe City want to make sure on exits for the books before they bring in someone new. Just speculating obviouslyWhy would Jesus possibly hold up the transfer that's a replacement for somebody that's already left?
I hope someone does a Alexis Sanchez, Jorginho, Fred or Maguire on us and gazump our efforts of signing him only for us to sign a far superior player afterwards. A win win.

IMO, we shouldn't get hung up on individual fees - a successful business looks at the overall transfer model: what's the budget; what does that player bring and what will the player do for the wider business, outside the field of play.Still don't like the idea of spending £60mil, Rodri money, on this guy....hes just not even close to justifying that fee
For around £40mil with add ons I would be ok, but I just don't understand why we've gone after another overpriced and imo overated player from the Prem
It looks about 99% likely he is joining so will support him when he's here as I do all players, but I just can't get behind the logic of this transfer making sense at the prices quoted
Hope to be proven wrong just like i still feel like I have to be proven wrong on Grealish/Ake, neither of which have justified their price tag (yet, although Ake isn't far off)
He will do if they deliver and they’re his best players ;)That’s a “fuckwit” for you. Would love Pep to give the Academy graduates a chance to be honest.
