No clause is ill omens. Leeds did decline a 50 odd mil bid recently... Yuck, that fee would be really odd for a backup :S the 40 and under wouldve been decent.

Looking at how they struggled with Bamford out I would have thought they would have their eye on Delap - big, powerful with potential. I guess we will have our valuation and stick to it but as Kaldoon said sometimes you have to be creative & we do have a lot of top young players who would benefit from a good loan.

Think The experience Doyle has had in the championship he would be the better option than ANY fringe youth player at city now.

That’d be my dream. I’ve always felt he’d be amazing in a Pep team. But maybe not physical enough for the 6 position. Phillips does feel like a destroyer in the best possible way.

I'm expecting Delap to go out on loan this summer. That would sound like a good fit to me.

I think the thing that might put us off him is if the reported £75m price tag is what Southampton are selling him for
