Kalvin Phillips

The thing bothering a lot of City supporters about KP is that he was ostensibly brought in to take the stress off Rodri. Because KP hasn't worked out so far, it leaves the huge burden of playing 50-60 games still on Rodri's shoulders while we have an extra squad space and a wage taken up.
It's as much concern for Rodri's long term fitness and what impact an injury would have on our season as it is frustration for KP not making the grade.

I understand all of that but it doesn't give fans the right to be personally insulting about him or question his professionalism. Take it out on whoever sanctioned his purchase if you must. His injury record was pretty well known at the time.

He did fine, to be critical he didnt show enough for the ball from the cbs. i noticed akanji and dias went from 1/2 touch passes to pretty much standing with the ball after kps introduction. i appreciate there is more factors than just one player however.
looking forward to seeing what nunes has to offer

Totally agree.
Abuse is uncalled for.
Seems a thoroughly nice lad.

that was a solid cameo, those floating passes were very good. maybe he can be used in more advanced position, maybe as an 8
