He could be our Kalvin Phillips replacement, like Stones, he can play both CDM and CB!
Is that new? I think a few years ago he also said something about wanting to play for us.

How he played at Leeds and how he plays in the future is irrelevant.People claiming Kalvin was (is) slow have never watched him playing for Leeds. Under Bielsa he was covering larger pitch area are than Rodri and very often he was playing inbetween his CBs, both defending and starting most of their attacks from the back.
I never heard him blaming Bielsa for getting crocked, but his shoulder injuries and Pep being Pep worked against him. I really liked him as a player and hope he goes to Newcastle or Juventus or wherever and smash it.
In our shirt he has been appalling, a terrible signing but we move on thankfully and get a player in that can help out Rodri and Co.

I genuinely thinks he’s going to leave without ever playing a good game for the club, which puts him in a completely different tier of failure compared to Mendy, Mangala, Nastasic, Bony, Rodwell etc the other commonly listed transfer flops.

Well it is, he’s going to leave before playing a good game.
Part of that’s due to him not being deemed good enough to play, the rest is that whenever he does, he’s shit.
