Just mean that he's basically ended up being here for 'vibes' around the squad. He seems to do that part quite well, but never plays.

Obviously it's different, but there are similarities also.

By all accounts the rest of the squad love him being around as he appears to be a good egg all round guy. He`ll never be out of work IMO.

Everyone says he’s a great bloke. I’m sure whoever comes in to eventually replace him will also fit in well with the squad though.

As much as he's a knob, Barton was a pretty good player and ran his arse off in a City shirt.

He also helped us win the league by getting himself sent off that wonderful day. :)

He also got sent off in that 4-3 against spurs. Almost like it was good luck to get him off the pitch.

Sometimes you just need a person like that in your dressing room (as he`s hardly likely to play) as he`s a well known joker and character. I trust Peps decision to keep him on.
