Kaoru Mitoma

Mitoma is outstanding!

Sterling and Sané used to consistently have Trent Alexander-Arnold on toast. I've seen Jack Harrison tear him a new one.

Hardly a sign of quality.

That being said, Mitoma looks a class act. Would take him here for sure. Horribly one footed though.

I've been watching his recent matches and he's been giving a hard time to almost every right full back he faced. He became a professional footballer after graduating from university, so it's only the third professional season for him, which makes him keep improving even now. He scored a world class goal a few days ago against Liverpool and he scored another world class goal a week earlier too. Here is the video.

I know. I really like the player, just using Alexander-Arnold as a benchmark is far too low a bar.

Brighton would bend us over a barrel but he does look good. He seems like the player on the cusp of taking the next step and making the move from a mid-table club to a CL side and leaves everyone else wondering why they werent in for him

For me, he is the most exiting footballer. Football is a team sport, but he can add some tastes of individual sports such as boxing and fencing to football by frequently showing the battle against the fullback he faces.

nah macallister is not good enough for us. Mitoma on the other hand is exactly what we need

I'd take both in a heartbeat. Mac Allister is very similar stylistically to Gundogan, a midfield controller. Very good in tight areas, press resistant, very good in possession and a very hard working player off the ball. He's really well suited for us.

Mitoma is a flying winger that combines dynamism and speed with technically ability beautifully. As much as Grealish has improved, we really need a winger like Mitoma that can beat defenders 1v1 and drive at full backs on a regular basis. The impressive thing about Mitoma is, his ball control is exceptional so he can move the ball very quick in tight areas. Particularly when City play against low blocks, he's the type of player that can unlock a defence where there is such little space to operate.

Both of these types of players would be Pep type players. Mac Allister has already shown in the WC final he firmly belongs on the big stage.

MacAllister and Mitoma are very different players...

Mitoma if you want a winger, MacAllister if you want a centre controller.

I’d be happy to a deal with Brighton for maybe Cole Palmer on loan + cash for Mitoma. I’d love Mac Allister also.
