It's difficult to judge him off a few games.
He looks strongish and athletic though. He also wants to play for us.
Players like Sinclair need to be shipped out and squad places given to kids like Rekik.

Agree and I don't see why we didn't do this with Boyata. If Boyota is better than everyone in our Academy I'd be surprised.

He seems to have a big future ahead of him. He now needs regular games to help him hit the high levels

Hull are in Europe this season, they'll need a big squad. They have a good manager and a decent team. I think a loan deal to Hull for the season getting him Prem and European experience would be perfect.
I won't hold my breath on that though because many of our domestic loan deals have been with the wrong club in the wrong position with no need for squad rotation and poor managers.

When did Hull get a good manager ? Why wasn't there a thread when Steve Bruce got sacked ?
Rekik is going to be a star. If we can't give him 20 or so games then we need him out on loan somewhere a lot better than Hull.

Bruce would probably do a Hughes on Rekik. Everton would be a good place of learning but they have a decent defense already. How about Spurs or Southampton?
He looks to have physically developed quite a lot in his year away. He's less skinny but still athletic. One more year away is the right idea though I think, unless we sell Nastasic. He looks like he is close to becoming a player who could have a long-term future in City's squad, but needs more experience. The Marseille link sounds perfect, Bielsa has a history of improving young talent like Javi Martinez, Muniain and Herrera. Will also play the high line there I'm pretty sure.
