In fairness if you think Silva wasn't as great as some think then you will get some comments on it. It's also odd not to revere a City player and say he made a fantastic contribution in the same sentence.

Why is it odd? Revering a player clearly (for me at least) requires more than a ‘fantastic contribution’. I think my comment about him is sufficient recognition. All about the levels and opinions though I suppose.

I love Dave but stats like these are very telling.

Multiple player of the year awards in the Premier League and won the German equivalent playing for lowly Wolfsburg. Frequently in the team of the year both domestically and in Europe.

Might well be the best midfielder the Premier League has ever seen never mind just ourselves.

Both legends. David silva was just like another level of dribbling and passing. Kdb is another level of passing and crossing and vision. They both stand out against even world class players
