That's what i thought. He told me that he "could've had him in court". But didn't as it was his works vehicle.

He did give me a sticker with the different limits on it, probably stuck it straight in the bin, from what I can remember, though, where the speed limit is 60mph larger vans are restricted to 50mph, that may be on single carriageway ?

TS, yeah I did read and understand that (I edited my post and forgot to include that :-S), but what I was getting at was to see if there were any stated or test cases, a specialist in road traffic matters may see grounds to give it a go, the speed limits themselves aren't clear at all, you only have to google the many threads, but then again, it's not Glens licence and his mate may not be in jeopardy of losing his, so I guess just suck it.
