Goodie, at least we will have someone who will come across good and sensible while we carry on being shafted and nothing improves
And Attlee and Blair.I see that Starmer is praising Thatcher again in his latest article for The Telegraph.
Sure to go down well on here…
Has to be said at the COP Starmer has come across way more world statesman like than Sunak did. One flew in - spent about 10 hrs there and flew out having been humiliated at his own presser and Starmer who has been meeting with and discussing stuff with other leaders right on the back of Sunaks Greek PM fuck up. What has to be understood all this diplomacy is a 2 way street - the people he meets have to want to meet him or seek him out for a meet and its clear why that is. Little Rishi Little Britain. And they wonder why despite all the thinks they do - stopping an invisible meat tax or stopping themselves from introducing 8 wheelie bins - nothing changes in the polls. When voting for Brexit most exceptionalists did not believe it would diminish us in Europe and now the see the same happening on the world stage
It’s quite the statement and, most importantly, one he didn’t have to make. And Attlee and Blair.
"...she 'sought to drag Britain out of its stupor by setting loose our natural entrepreneurialism'"
Is that it? If that's praise, I'd put it in the "faint praise" / damnation category.

Vic is on full on electioneering door knocking mode for Starmer.
A Labour leader going into bat for Thatcher can and will be ignored.
Our resident Cobynistas won’t be so kind though ;-)

The usual suspects will claim it's a form of anti semitism.Don't call them red Tories though
