Keir Starmer

Starmer doesn’t need an opposition from the right when those formerly on the Labour left (and now in some far left Corbynite fantasy world) seem to hate him more than they hate the actual criminals currently in charge, and would probably rather have Johnson or Truss back than see Starmer as PM, judging by the desperate shit they post about him that would look at home in the Daily Mail.

Surely he would only have influence on the UK based clubs?

He'd only have direct influence on English clubs as Sport is a devolved matter. Through Welsh Labour he'd possibly have some influence.

Celtic and Rangers would be on it like a tramp on chips and as their pub league has been a two team contest before a ball is kicked for 100 odd seasons, it's hard to see an argument why they should be stopped, and decay whilst their league sink to the depths of non-league standards.

Based on that fail to see how he can make that statement

Both are wrong and weird. A quick Google image search shows, that you have to go back as far as Maggy to find a PM or leader of the opposition other than Johnson doing it.

There should be a clear symbolic line between military and politics, and as both of those men haven't served in any capacity it just comes across as a very transparent and cynical cosplay.
