Keir Starmer

But saying to people that believe the Labour leadership is too Tory like should actually still vote Labour to get rid of the Tories is laughable.

No it’s not!

Even if they were literally identical parties based on policies and views, they would still be a different group of people than the ones who’ve been fucking up the country and profiteering for 13 years.

But in the real world, even if you think Starmer is a Tory, and the front bench are all neo-libs, you’d still be electing a party that has 35 self-professed socialists like Ian Lavery, Clive Lewis and Caroline Lucas pulling it to the left instead of Lee Anderson Priti Patel and Suella pushing the government far right.

There is no world where Starmer’s Labour is not closer to Corbynites preferred government than Sunak’s Tories.

Of course it would be a Labour government, just that people don’t want to hear what they actually want to do until the populist Tories rip it off and rebrand it as their own.

Just Tory supporters being Tory and some disenfranchised former Labour supporters not knowing where to turn.

As I've said before your love for all things Starmer is a tad weird, your guesswork is of no use tbh.

Closer too? Haha you really don't get it.

Well, at least I’m honest and would prefer a Labour government than any Tory **** carrying on with their woeful, disastrous governance.

Can’t be doing with whataboutery and snide digs, better to be straight with what you want rather than playing games.

It depends on your definition of the Labour Party.

A bit like us having UKIP in power at the moment, rather than a traditional Tory party.

The Traditional Tory party died decades ago and Labour is doing the same. The next government is going to be Labour in name but there isn't one good reason why anyone on here should vote for them if they don't believe in them as a socialist party.

The poster calling people stupid unfortunately can't grasp it so the irony in his words are quite amusing.

Not sure who you are talking about but I've said many a time I vote Green and Labour will win the next election. @Rascal has been pretty honest about his views on here for over a decade.

Some people’s dying is another's evolving.

The world isn’t the same as it was 30 years ago, let alone when the parties were formed.

The Blair government wasn’t a traditional Labour government either, yet it gave the country it’s happiest 15 years we’ve probably had.

None of us know what will happen if they get voted in. They will be hamstrung by ridiculous debt/deficit and services cut to the bone.

What I hope is that they aren’t corrupt and create a way forwards for the country.

Whether that happens, only time will tell.

Their election is important to get rid of the class of 19 Boris sycophants who can’t think for themselves.

Maybe then we can start debates in parliament with adults.

Like I said they are getting in there is no reason why posters should feel the need to tell people how to vote.

Because we have no power to change the outcome on here then people should just vote how they feel. Anyone who thinks not voting or voting for someone else other than Labour is stupid should really take a peek in the nearest mirror.
