Keir Starmer

Like I said they are getting in there is no reason why posters should feel the need to tell people how to vote.

Because we have no power to change the outcome on here then people should just vote how they feel. Anyone who thinks not voting or voting for someone else other than Labour is stupid should really take a peek in the nearest mirror.
Agreed. It’s a bit like arguing over each others’ definition of what a party stands for to them. It’s subjective and used to deflect discussion.

I hate to break it you but its not only the Tories who are dishonest but sssh keep it to yourself.

The vote Starmer cause he is telling whoppers to get in crowd are huge on honesty as you know:-)
There’s lies and then there’s LIES! We are we are and at the moment I’d accept anything other than the Tories.

The truth is, I personally see conviction in the Labour Shadow Cabinet and even though I’d like to vote for Green, like yourself, they don’t have any coherent policies and have no chance of making it onto the first step.

What we don't have is a vote for real change which is a shame. I think people have accepted that capitalism needs poverty and as long as enough people are doing okay that wins the day. Its no coincidence that Starmers most vocal supporters come across as doing okay.

A conscience with an eye on their own wallet.

Of course it could be better, but the main thing in the next GE is to get the party packed full of morally bankrupt people out of power.

Now, Labour may be no better, but their record on not being nonces, sex pests and corrupt is far better than the incumbent government as of now.

Capitalism needs to grow a conscience is my way of looking at the ills of its system. Scandinavia does okay with this, but we’re packed too full of people that would rather see others suffer than have their pay packet reduced.

So, even if they are exactly the same, it’s still important to get rid of this particular mix of criminals and free loaders.

Your first paragraph is depressing, my liar is not as bad as your liar. No wonder people can't be arsed with it all.

Your second paragraph needs more thought, you ain't putting anyone onto the first step.

Anyhow I'm off to bed have a good un. Roll.on the next election.

I agree whole heartedly that Labour would be better morally than this shower of shite. I just don't believe in them or their policies so I ain't voting for them.

But at least we agree on one thing.

People wanting fundamental change at every election will always be disappointed, whatever their hue.

I might be wrong here but i think it was Harold W who said that for the Labour party to fly, it needed both wings. if labour flies with just one wing it will just flap around in circles.

We are witnessing what happens when one wing dominates a party right now, the right wing of the Tory party dominates and chaos ensues.

Labour need to fix our democracy, if they promise that then they may get my vote. We need an end to the farce that is the HoL, replace it with an elected revising chamber of the regions. Regulate think tanks and make them transparent. Introduce PR and outlaw second jobs (pay MPs properly) Ban private school pupils from public office and reduce the role of the monarchy to ceremonial rather than constitutional, then have an elected head of state. End non dom tax paying representatives in parliament, regulate the media so that it is UK socially owned like the good old Morning Star.

Labour should be aiming to level the playing field, not using the playing field to its advantage, because it means it owes people and those people it then owes are not the working class.

True, people who keep voting for their least worst status quo keeps it that way. A catch 22 which protects precisely what needs changing. However no individual needs to participate but they continue to do so.

I can only presume its because they like to say they voted for the winner. Its quite insecure really. That or they are in fact stupid and think that there one little vote did actually make any difference.
