Keir Starmer

It's amazing how much everything has changed in 10 years. I regard myself as a centrist too, I voted for Cameron and May but I didn't vote for Boris where I voted Lib Dem. Indeed Starmer will get my vote, not so much on policy but rather because the Tories need to be given a huge kicking. I always thought that Sunak would be a reformer but even with a huge majority he seems powerless and totally out of touch.
At the moment we desperately need someone like Blair albeit without the wars. Starmer has understood that sentiment and that's why he'll win, it's why he has purged the more extreme left. Labour are now the only palatable party for the working and middle classes which is basically everyone.
Why do you refer to Cameron, May, Starmer, Sunak and Blair by the surnames and Johnson by his given name?

Is he your mate?

Seems like a tell. Maybe he did vote for him after all.
This widespread presentation of the fat lying **** as some sort of matey, cuddly, avuncular figure of fun is one of the reasons that this con artist was able to assume power with such ease and wreak his havoc upon us. That and our unbelievably shite electoral system.

Very true. Particularly effective when foreign governments and the tabloid and liberal press are running a co-ordinated smear campaign against your opponent.
