Keir Starmer

In response to a post whereby global tax regime work is supposedly a good thing the Tories have done? What work have the Tories done?

I'm baffled. Tax laws should not give businesses in one country an unfair advantage over competitors in another one. And the tax laws of one country should not allow people to escape taxation in another.

How do you think getting agreement on a global tax regime actually works? I’ll give a clue, it’s in the name.

Star trek?

Only on planet earth mate, the rest of the universe are still filling their own pockets. But to address your point when money becomes irrelevant and you can do anything you want humans will find some other mechanism to make sure class still exists.

Fair play to Crick on this. He is the only mainstream political journalist who has consistently paid any attention to this.

Wouldn't disagree with his analysis either.

The world should all have the same tax code, and the same car (Maybe in 2 different colours) and the same clothes.

Now where have I heard that before?
This is very bizarre. Metalblue says work for a global tax regime is a Tory achievement, and now it's a commie plot? (Or perhaps you meant the 1930s Volkswagen?)
