By all accounts it was the lying that brought down Johnson.

Last honest prime mininster? Tricky, I would have said John Major but of course he had the affair with Edwina Currie so he must clearly have acted dishonestly there at some point, as well as being barking mad.

If it was the Who Wants to be a Millionnaire question and I had used my lifelines, I might say Liz Truss on the basis that she wasn't in long enough to tell many whoppers.

Actually, thinking about it, did Sunak lie much? I am not sure that would be high up on his list of failings.

Ripping the piss out of everything at each opportunity is fun and can be a superb way of cutting through the bullshit.

Just look at how successful the Simpsons was.

But also note how popular it is now. It has a lifespan.
