Someone said the other day, a Labour government is under 10 times more scrutiny than a Tory one.

I keep laughing when people say Starmer lied to get in because they obviously have short-term memory loss about Boris Bunter, who lied every time he opened his gob. He didn't even sincerely support Brexit, but just saw it as an opportunity - for him! The buffoon would almost certainly never have become PM without it.

TBF he has called Sunak Prime Minster several times since becoming PM. Embarrassing for sure, like calling hostages sausages, but it also suggests he’s not really present in the moment. Once, twice yeah just a slip of the tongue…but repeatedly?

I think the main compliant levelled at him is he lied to become leader of Labour and hasn’t quite been the change he promised to be. Let’s say whoever becomes leader of the Tory party then distances themselves from being tough on immigration (given both candidates have said how hard they will be). They going to get a free pass? Of course not and nor should they, their principles will be called in to question.

Exactly what is happening to Starmer. In his defence he gets very little credit for doing what he says he will do and only where they don’t does he get any attention. Who of us would want the job? Being in the firing line for fickle cunts like voters? Nah you’re alreet.

Swift had just cancelled dates in Austria due to a terrorist plot. She was considering cancelling the London dates too, and apparently asked for extra security.

Given the fuss about the tour in the first place, the fact that we've had a terrorist attack linked to a concert already, I can imagine the same newspapers blaming Labour if they Met had refused and the dates were cancelled.
