Keir Starmer

No.

You clearly didn’t understand. I’ll try to make it more simple for you.

It’s not a “win” if the entire process is flawed.

But you didn't start with that did you? You said said leave lied and used underhand tactics, purposely ignoring the flawed process involving remain which is why I'm having difficulty taking you seriously.

Should all political campaigns be banned from using social media entirely? Yes imo and i have said so numerous times so i guess we agree on that yes?

I dont agree and never will though with you only picking out one side for complaint which is the side you dont like and the side that won leaving you so bitter.

You cant have it all ways.

Fine, we agree that if underhand, mendacious tactics are used that it completely undermines the process.

Given that, it’s strange you still consider the referendum as a “win”.

But yeh, back to Starmer, hopefully the next election will be run on legitimate grounds and the general public are well informed of the facts and the truth and they vote for who they think is the best person for the job.

Hopefully this helps..

They did last time. They didn't vote for the other side because they didn't want it - that's how democracy works.

Definitely how it should work.

Hopefully the next election is a legitimate process with two viable alternatives campaigning on truth.
It always is - in fact we had three or four viable alternatives so even better. I didn't vote tory and never have, but to describe the majority they have as anything less than a resounding mandate for their key policies and a rejection of the others is just sticking your head in the sand and being a bad loser.

It won't be. Social media is the new political battleground and it isn't going to change unfortunately.

A "bad loser"? You don't even know who I voted for? Or if I even cast a vote? Cool it with the playground stuff mate, it's a bit cringy.

The process isn't always legitimate, that's why we have electoral law. When people break electoral law, it undermines the legitimacy of the process.

There are a few high profile cases of campaigns that broke laws and there is pending legal action and possible parliamentary enquiries to come, so it's a little premature to say "It always is".
