The legitimacy of the democratic process is actually more important than “winning” to some people. I’m one of them.

When the government posted 9 million leaflets through our doors informing us to vote remain I don't believe in all honesty that the remain voters and remain politicians can grumble.

I hope he campaigns, and wins, in a legitimate process.

I don’t think going down the “the real winners are the ones who cheat most effectively” is a good idea for democracy.
