I don't know how many times I have to say it, I'm not asking him to deliverSo, 6 months after an election hiding, 3 months into a Covid pandemic and the biggest economic crisis the country has ever faced, 3 months in the job and 5 months away from a possible no deal Brexit and you think Starmer should have a manifesto? I appreciate that you don’t think the current government can do any wrong but that’s a bit far-fetched, even for you.
a manifesto.
Ok, can you tell us something, anything, that would persuade new Conservative
voters to move back to Labour? All we have at the moment about the dear leader is that
he doesn't agree with the government, and that makes him a shrewd cookie,
far better than that Corbyn bloke.
When Blair became leader he gave everyone a clear picture of what he wanted for
the Labour party, that, combined with clever debating skill, personality, and force of
will, persuaded long standing conservatives to listen a but more. This resulted in a steady
surge in popularity for Blair as time went on, he published a manifesto, and got a landslide.
I certainly don't think the govt can do no wrong, but with who they're up
against at present, it doesn't matter if they can do nothing right.
