Keir Starmer

Aside from the depravity of weaponising the abuse of children it also highlights their stupidity. If it's about tougher sentencing who bears the most responsibility? Sunak, who wasn't even an MP for the full period in question or the fella who had a direct involvement in setting the sentencing guidelines?

Absolutely spot on that. Starmer’s recent decision making makes it very challenging to have any confidence in his political judgement.

Sunak said in pmq's recently that starmer is on the side of the people trafficers and those in the small boats , there wasnt an outcry then , the right wing media can fuck off

It is a very poor tweet for tge labour party to even consider in the past, it is very populist and tory-like.

I doubt starmer personally signs off on these so to use it to bash him is daft, but the PR department need calling out as dicks

I guess that is the point. Personally, I think it is unnecessary and reflects poorly on Labour. The British electorate has rewarded those who campaign in this manner, so, Labour joining in is no real surprise.

Trouble with that is, it lends credence to ‘they’re all the same’ which is a huge danger to the Labour Party and them not seeing that, is not only remarkable but is worrisome as well, as it risks another 5 years of this shower and the country will not survive that.

I can't see the bit that says

"Keir Starmer and the rest of the sentencing council discuss whether they think all adults convicted of sexual assaulting children should go to jail? Their answer might shock you"

How can you have an answer to a question that wasn't asked?

Me neither.

What I don’t get is that one misjudged tweet is somehow seen as equivalent to 13 years of Tory governance which has seen overseen the butchering of public services, reduction in the police and military, bringing the NHS to its knees and the mismanagement of the economy on an epic scale.

It is quite bizarre.

All the more reason not to have done it.

Honestly, if anybody can watch this and not have their skin crawl, I'll never know!

He's, literally, lied his way through his political career! He might be just a level down from Johnson and centrist voters think that's a marker to be proud of!

Says the man who wades through all manner of dribbling shite and posts it on here as if it was the Oracle of Delphi.

Some folk would vote for a farm yard animal to govern us so long as it wore a red rosette. Policy and principles doesn’t enter the equation.
