Keir Starmer

He may have said that, However he still managed to alienate himself just a bit further from the voting public that he now hopes to win over by voting against Brexit yet again last week. Leopards and spots spring to mind.
How did he vote against Brexit? Do you mean he voted against a different Brexit agreement to the one people voted for at the GE?

I can't see any of these people winning a GE for the simple reason that they are all far too associated with the last failed attempt. Also did any of them vote for Johnson's Brexit deal? Still not cottoned on to that little issue either then? still a student protest movement.
But when Brexit does start to look a mistake (and most Labour voters think it already does) how would it look to have gone along with it?

As long as he's just leading a protest movement no doubt you will be happy. You really dont get it do you. ? Labour needs to move rapidly to the centre ground and leave the crazy left wing politics at home. Otherwise the country will never have a decent opposition let alone an alternative for government.

Don't think it matters if you're left, right or centre. People are pro and anti-Brexit of all persuasions.

God awful the quality of candidates.

Ive never even seen Long-Bailey do a speech without reading from a piece of paper in front her.

Nandy seems a respectable politician, at least recognised her constituency voted leave unlike the majority of Labour MPs. Starmer should walk it though.

Just read through the list of who nominated whom from the PLP

Phillips is fucked, backed by all the bellends the membership dislike, I cannot see where she will get support.

Long-bailey backed by all the left wingers.

Corbyn hasn't nominated anyone

10/10 for that.

I'm the type of voter that Labour need to attract if they'e any hope of getting back in to power.

For me, Kier Starmer is their best bet by a country mile.

Something about Starmer irks - but compared to Corbyn he comes across as a real statesman

I am another that Labour need to get back - and I expect them to confirm more wilderness years by selecting RLB
