This is ridiculous. Labour voters don’t use language like that. My nana who’s in her 90s and voted Labour all her life has never used language like that.

In fairness they have nothing to fear from those who vote for her, that’s kind of the point. She is doing a sterling job on the governments behalf. I don’t remember anyone saying she shouldn’t think Tories are scum, I haven’t see many if any say that they aren’t.

For some reason a couple of posters seem to think this is an attack on Rayners personal views or a defence of this shite govt. And no matter how many times it’s said it won’t sink in. For most the annoyance isn’t that they want this government it’s that they can see the opposition are not helping us get rid of them.

Now you may think what she is saying is bang on and her views are similar to yours so it seems natural that you would think it’s the way to go. Unfortunately there aren’t enough of you to make it effective. You and I and quite a few on here are in a minority in how we think. Just actually posting on a political forum is unusual.

To get what you want you have to play the system and wise up unless spending decades moaning about the tories is your bag.

You all obviously don't get it because your post and the two posts directly above yours prove my point you omitted from my post you quoted.

Until you all start to understand, you will never entice abstainers and alternative voters away from abstaining and voting alternatively, and voting for Labour instead; and Labour will never be in power.

Interestingly enough, I‘ll be voting Labour at the next GE and will also be urging those that I know to do the same. I’m happy for Rayner to call a prick ‘A prick’ and for Labour to get their policies in order, all to get these corrupt scumbags out of power.

However, the issue isn’t the likes of Rayner, or Starmer, the issue is with their own supposed voters who are too busy infighting to actually see the wood for the trees.

My conscience will be clear though and I’ll leave those who unwittingly allow this disgraceful government to stay in control live with their own guilt.

It’s very much media led, placing the blame on what was said rather than dissect why she said it. Although I think that what was said is a distraction from what should be the Labour Party Conference, the reality is that what was said was mostly correct for some of the Cabinet and if that is so, why are we talking about Rayner instead of discussing why she felt the need to say it.

They don’t care how it happens, the media will smear anybody who threatens their way of life.
