Keir Starmer

The world is crying out for boring, intelligent, empathetic leaders with a soupçon of charisma.

Not saying Starmer is the ideal choice for this, but he’s higher on the list than Johnson. By default.
He also talked about basing treasury spend on well-being outcomes. Straight from the Ardern NZ playbook. Not saying its wrong btw. Think it’s positive.

Don't get me wrong, in an ideal world the party would be united. It just feels like for too long we're more bothered about winning arguments amongst ourselves than winning elections and being in a position to affect change. Him making statements to that effect is a step in the right direction for me.
Not sure.
Biden saw the value of an olive branch

Bit of a gamble but he’s gone for distancing himself from the previous leadership of the party, don’t think he could do that as much as he thought he had to and take the supporters along with him.

Hard to portray a former DPP as soft on crime...

It not too hard tbf, he gets called out on it by social media trolls who are fans of yaxley lennon all the time and tories for.his failure to prosecute certain crimes, while he is heavily criticised on the left for turning a blind eye to reports of MI5s and MI6s part in rendition and torture by America

Well there is no circumstance (unless the government of the day was in favour of it) where the CPS would start prosecuting intelligence operatives for carrying out extraordinary rendition.

It’s just fanciful to believe otherwise, and I'm not someone who believes that we should have been involved with flying people around for the purpose of torturing them.
