Politically, it's a revolving door.I voted leave too, nothing to do with immigration or other dodgy issues, but I have been critical of the EU and its direction and politics for over 20 years. However, I accept that leaving has been a 'less than ideal situation', bearing in mind hindsight and recent developments with Russia. I think we need to reassess our position with the EU and whilst I am not a fan of Starmer I think he needs to push this now because it is an open door.
Persuading Tory voters that Liar Johnson and the current government and Tory MPs in general are incompetent, venal and just nasty, is relatively easy. It’s harder to tell them that Brexit was a mistake that they voted for having believed the lies, or that the Rwanda "solution" is illegal and immoral and doesn't do what it says on Patel's tin (not value for money, and more likely to boost smugglers' business as they get two goes at getting people out of Africa).
