Keir Starmer

It can be wholly accurate but it means nothing so far out from a GE
It does matter if you believe Starmer is doing a bad job and want him replaced i suppose, especially for someone more left. Tbh though like your post on Farage I believe anyone wanting anything other than a legacy career driven politician from 'the centre' is gonna be very disappointed.

Officially the worst pm in history
If you actually believe that then you must think Liz Truss isn’t the worst, which means your judgement is beyond wank.

There is some white dog shit on the pavement near my house that would make a better PM than Truss.

She was bad in the time she was pm, no doubt about it. Starmer takes being bad to a whole new level and I'm obviously not the only one that thinks that.

And clear up your own dog shit.

Only a fucking idiot would suggest Starmer is the worst PM we have ever had after living through the previous incumbents.
Its nice to have an adult in charge for the first time in a long time.
He is far from perfect and there are plenty of things that the Labour Party are doing which I do not like. But, I look at the the alternatives and they offer no solutions to any problems.
Reform getting in would be a bigger disaster than Brexit.

You are right that he isn't the worst but you dont help yourself with comments like it's nice to have an adult in charge.

You say a whole new level, but what do you actually mean in terms of specifics as you haven’t provided any.

It can’t possibly be intellect, people and social skills, judgement, speed of thought, good manners, ability to read a room, self-awareness, communication skills, diplomacy, critical thinking skills or empathy.

I suppose she was more decisive but that is militated against by her truly appalling decision making.

So what characteristics did Truss possess that are on a whole never level to Starmer in terms of being discernibly better?

The difference in the stats is that I know Tories who would have said (at the time) that Truss was doing a good job even when it was obviously an immediate disaster. You'd need to ask "who's the worst PM, Truss or Starmer?" to make a comparison.

Or a wider poll asking which of Starmer's policies are good / bad.

I posed him the same question and still awaiting a reply

Do you believe Borris Johnson behaved like a mature and responsible adult?
I think adults can be terrible people fella or just flawed, for anyone who knows politics saying the adults are in charge will always be a massive own goal and it's a tad childish tbh.

It's like when they call Farage a grifter, there all bloody grifters.

Some grift more than others and Farage is top of the pops :)

One of the headlines in the BBC is ‘Starmer repeatedly asked if he will rule out VAT rise in Budget’.

If you actually listen to it, he says ‘we made that commitment in our manifesto, and the manifesto stands’. He then repeats ‘the manifesto stands’ about 10 times.

It’s interesting the slant that the article has taken. Clearly in a bid to rile people up and worry people them about further financial pressure. It’s incredibly irresponsible. No wonder reform are polling so well when misleading headlines are everywhere!
