Pantilimon wasn't really good enough to challenge him, he would have been dropped much sooner if he was and not brought back, he knows he's not immune from being dropped now and that MP will do so if he needs it. He'll be at the top of his game.

But that's another foreign player we've got to find a space for in our squad, we're already working at the limits of our allowable foreign players, adding Caballero just exacerbates the problem. We're almost certain to be signing a home grown keeper, whether he's association or club trained is debatable.

We could see Westwood come to be third choice and see Wright leave if Willy is brought in to challenge/deputy Hart. Having a club trained 3rd keeper would be fantastic especially since we only need 1 club trained player in the UCL squad this year.
