I havent seen any of his games for cska, but for Japan he plays AMC. While he could do a job in a two man midfield, his main position is linking the play and driving forward.

I'd call him Rooney-lite. He'd start as backup amc, but he has a big character and would go all out for the starting position. He could play midfield, wide and upfront aswell, but would mainly offer high work rate in those positions.

I think you would like him if he signed, not shy, but respectful. He's got a good head on him.

I found this. His performance in the first half of the 2012-2013 season. Of course I know everyone looks great on youtube. But, he looks genuine quality, not hyped up by agents and sponsors. And unlike most Japanese players, he looks physically imposing as well.

For free it's a no brainer. Get him in Roberto and Txiki.

I don't think we can get him free. There would be a lot of competitions if he were free. I've just checked his market price. It's currently €20 mils, despite the fact his contract expires less than a year. That means CSKA would make sure they would sell him to the highest bidder in summer.

His contract runs out at the end of the season, and I've heard nothing about him signing a new contract. Even if we can get him for anything less than €10m then it's still a no brainer in my opinion.
