He was impressive against Brazil, wasn't he?
He was closely marked by two Brazilians all the time, but still played well. He made David Luiz, Marcelo, Gustavo and Paulinho constantly on their toes. He is very technical and physical as well. If we fail to get Isco, we could perhaps consider him as an option.
 
Where is this lad best in a midfield? I haven't watched much of this lad to be fair but seem him play a few times for CSKA in a deep-lying playmaker position and played damn well, yet everyone seems to talk him up as an attacking player?

Having a player which could fill both position would be grand but haven't we already got a decent utility midfielder in Milner or am I miles off here? As I said I haven't seen much of him so probably just embarrassing myself.
 
This would raise our profile even more in asia an probably get the club some more revenue, not to mention that he is a very good player

He could easily be one of the best playmakers in the Prem. You just don't know anything about him, do you? LOL.
Whether he is targeted by us or not is another matter.
